Botanical Name: Verbascum thapsus

Origin: Albania / Croatia
Production: Mullein is a leafy, fuzzy plant that grows in a rosette shape with a shoot emerging from the middle that produces small, densely grouped, yellow flowers. The flannel-like leaves are harvested in the second year.

Common Use: Mullein can be used alone to brew a mild, earthy, and pleasant-tasting tea, or it can be blended with other herbs such as gotu kola,licorice root, or calendula. Mullein is also used in-ear oil recipes for comfort.
